Contact Combat Self Defense is currently offering level-appropriate adult based training. Most of this training is based on Krav Maga combative strikes and self-defense techniques against violent assaults. Additionally, trainees will learn basic pain compliance and joint manipulation techniques, rooted in Aikido, Jiu-Jitsu and Judo. Trainees are taught to manage situations where losing is not an option and will learn to neutralize the threat enabling a rapid and safe escape. In addition to learning combatives such as punches, kicks, knees, elbows, head butts, you will learn to defend against common attacks (punches, kicks, chokes, grabs). The basics of ground fighting and ground defense techniques are taught early on, shaping a strong offense and defense on all levels.
Our programs at Contact Combat Self-Defense instill the building blocks of the Krav Maga Fighting System and fortify self-confidence while hardening the mind and body. The techniques learned in our training are the bedrock upon which more advanced skills will be built. Through progressive training, we teach students to function during the stress and shock of a sudden, violent encounter where there might be multiple attackers.
